This image theater performance premiered at the Théâtre du Grand Rond, Toulouse, in 2004.
That fire giving warmth and shedding light itself admits that it is not the true fire. The true one, it is said, smoulders in the soul more surely than beneath the ashes and its origin is the very heart of the human being. A metaphor for that fire in our hearts keeping us going for better and for worse, this work sought the perceptible language of our fevers.
